The Aftermath
Today in the Native Office…
7:00 AM
Well, it’s a very different day today—soft, warm, and mild, even if it is a dull and cloudy day. There is a layer of red dust [sand] over absolutely everything in sight [ and I do mean everything, including the mouse ], both inside the studio and apartment and outside on the terrace. Let's face it, windows in Greece are just to fill in the holes in the wall. They are not draft-excluding, see-through panels; that's how they roll. I suppose they have little reason to change, and in summer, not in winter, you actually are grateful for the breeze.
Today, I imagine, must feel a little like what life on Dune must feel like. I am not sure I will achieve much in the way of work, as the place needs a good going-over before I can even commence. The Gods alone know what state the new artwork pieces will be in.
I also need to walk into town to collect supplies.
It has been a long time since I have done this blog thing, and I'm not sure how much personal, day-to-day malarkey you want to ingest. Let me know in the comments if it is too much.
7:10 Coffee
7:15 Cleaning
8:15 The sun is out, and it feels like it may be a nice day after all. Shit, I’ve just discovered that it’s Easter tomorrow, and that is something that, here in Greece, they take very seriously. All the shops will be closed. And so I really do need to slip into Town and purchase supplies. I will probably need two trips.
2nd coffee is late: It is also time to watch the Squarespace video that teaches me how to Blog.
9:30. Greek lesson.

Mortal Critters
The Graphic Novel and Comic Book layouts are continuing. It is slow work, but it has to be correct.
Today, we start work on the Micro Drama Episode 3.
Book 2 reaches 60K words.
Art Studio
I am on a deadline for the Mortal Critters Micro Drama series and will be working on Episode 3 today. It will feature the introduction of Robyn Nudd and the Sheriff of Nottingham ~ Sunday Morning, Camden Town, to the initiated out there. The storyboard for this episode was finished on Tuesday, 31 March. We will be working on this over the holiday.
Mortal Critters Comic.
It has been suggested that the Comic books be released as standalone issues, featuring each principal character. I am not sure; I would be interested to know what you think. Hit me up in the comments section.
